Get the cheapest, store-brand, non-scented personal lubricant, as Tim suggests. It evaporates, after serving as an excellent assembly lubricant.
DO NOT USE ANYTHING WITH SILICONE IN IT (it is a contaminant you do not want on your vehicle or in your garage).
