This might sound a little crazy, but I used personal lubricant on mine to get them to slide into the slot, or you might try a product P-80 emulsion. It is a rubber lubricant, but a bit high on price. That's why I used personal lubricant.....the cheapest you can find. It's clear and will clean up real easy and it's much cheaper.
