Run across the sweep problem several times this year. I had no problem when I
installed mine, but that was nearly a decade ago and I don’t remember which vendor I
got them from. Had the door laying on horses and apart and installed the sweeps first,
no prying, no K-Y petroleum jelly or Dawn needed.
The problems I’ve seen were they vary from one vendor to the next. Like Goldilocks and
the Three Bears, some are to small and pop out of the channel, some are too big and
are near impossible to get in and some are just right.
The ones that The Truck and Car Shop in Orange, CA stock now seem to be the right
size, last I saw them.
