Same here Eric, I was fortunate enough to have talked with the
people that maintained this truck and new it from when it was
bought new. The out side was sprayed a real rough red because
it was used as a small town fire truck, but the interior was
never touched. The tank had a light dusting of the interior
color as though it had already been installed at the time it
went thru the paint shop. There was even Mariner Blue over
spray on the upper part of the outer filler neck. I'm guessing
that the grommet was installed some where down the line and
the over spray blew thru the opening.
