Ok, my 1954 Chevy 3600 has starting issues:
1. I have to pour a small amount of gas into the carb throat to get it to start. With it "choked" , it starts and idles fine. Open the choke and it idles fine and revs with a bit of a bog.
2. There's bailing wire tying the choke lever to something that I can't identify and I think a spring is missing.
3. I want to get this carb set up right.
I could sure use some help, instruction, guidance on this, please?
