Wrenchbender Ret. - I live near Hannibal in NE Missouri....other side of the state you might say. WetWilly5757 is sending a donor carb with spring and other parts. I'll go get a rebuild kit and give it a try. The previous owner said they rebuilt the carb back in 99 and then it sat for 15 years....with the spring missing and bent kicker arm, I'm thinking maybe not the perfect rebuild and then sitting didn't help, right. Thanks for the offer, its appreciated. I'll surely be back on here with more questions as I get into this deeper. Thanks everyone!
