Thanks everyone for your support. I am just going to redirect my energy . My 57 is going get driven before winter. Its not going to take much work to get it road worthy. Right now I need a win for my soul. The panel will probably get its stock front axle put back under her. When I went to move the panel the front 4x4 axle was locked up bad on one wheel. So I am thinking about returning this big ol girl back to stock with the 57's 235 in it. But first I want to drive the 57 before she gets a big block. I am thinking about holding off on the panel until I can afford to bring her back right. I can get my hot rod fix on the 57 and not feel guilty. If you look back at the beginning of this thread , I said how until I find a suitable 235 to replace the bad 216, I was planning on 455 install. Well I have a suitable 235 now, So I will stick to that plan.
Side note: all my picture hording came in handy with the police report , as I had casting numbers etc.
Personal note: My trust has been broken and I am not ready to take any risks right now. But I will make big come back and raise the pirate flag high up pole.
