Denny, there's quite a difference in months "old" gas and 20-30 year old gas that I refer to. I've had no issues with months old gas but the 25 year old gas that was left in my '38 created huge issues for me. The part of the original poster's question that I was replying to: "Maybe this stuff came off the walls of the fuel lines when the first gas in 30 years ran through it?"
