I'm convinced that stuff in the carb is not debris from elsewhere in the system.I got a new carb kit coming. I'm going to drain the tank,clear out the lines and clean out the carb.I'm going to install two filters. One at the tank and one at the carb.Then I'm going to find a source of alcohol free gas around here. As to the tank,that depends on what I find inside it when I empty it.Unless it looks drastic I'll avoid the prepping,sealing step. I hear too many negatives about it to jump right at it.Good thread.---Jack
