Capnduane thanks for the info. Wow 375 hp out of a 283 is insane! I will be happy with 250 hp! I am definitely going less radical than you were.
Jerry I will definitely try to over rich the outers. It seems like you think it can be done but it will take some or a lot tuning.
Bartamos I have a loong list of reasons why I won't go 350/350. I know it will make more power and be easier to do. On the short side I already have a 283 with 52k that has never been cut and portably won't need to be. I won't put a 350/350 even if I get a new one free.
