Sure hope twotone comes back with the final results so we can see what the culprit was. Nothing worse than having a failure and feeling the pressure (pun not intended) to fix it and get it back on the road...especially with limited funds.
One lesson I am learning from this: If possible, take the time to put a rebuilt motor on a break in stand and dial it in before installing on the truck.
