Laugh, but since that crack is not in a high stress area. Just stop drill it and use devcon or jb, and a hardened washer under the bolt it should last along time with no problems. It was likely cracked by who ever tried hammering it on or by tightening it, it was not a bearing failure. Maybe it was dropped and got cracked I didn't study the pics again.
