Love this thread and agree with so many other comments, I'm with Cosmos in expressing gratitude for beginning it. You can tell by the responses that we have all been there. "The wall" exists for all of us; some walls are higher than others, and you don't have to go over it, you can go around (ask for help)!

Several years ago I considered "giving up" the hobby. I made a conscious decision to continue because it was good exercise of both mind and body, I really enjoyed the people I met in the hobby, AND I enjoyed working on our older vehicles. After all, it's supposed to be fun!

There's something magical about putting a socket and breakover bar on a nut that's been on a bolt for over 60 years and have it break loose, without rounding off....

Anyway, since making the decision, we've gotten Magic Bus, Thor, and Chief; two of which are back on the road, and Chief is on the 2014 schedule.

This site is truly therapeutic as well as an abundance of information and support. Oh, it does help to have and understanding spouse!
