As mentioned by others. That is what I have done on mine, is to keep it somewhat drivable while working on it. If nothing else just enough to drive it around the pasture in between major repairs.
Every few months, after that little drive, I am energized again and feel good about the little accomplishments I have made.
If that does not work for you...just step back away from it for a while. When you go back, things will look better.
Yep, 5 grand is not very much nowadays. Just keep the mindset that when finished it may be worth 30 grand!!!
