Need a quick check on this guys; I did many, many searches in the forums and found wrong info for my application. Truck is apart, so speed helps.
I bought (about two years ago) the CPP 4759RBK Roller bearing upgrade. Installed it then and haven't had any major issues. But while checking and repacking today, I noticed my inner dust shield on the left side had cut the neoprene part of the inner seal.
Of course, CPP does NOT tell you what the seal numbers are. The seals are blank too, but look like this:
Roller Upgrade Seal And here's a thread I did a while back on the upgrade (with pictures):
Thread Scattered all over the forums here, folks throw out National 6064 as the replacement seal number. But that seal does not come close to matching the dimensions of this wheel bearing seal.
Anyone have an interchange number for me for the seals used in these kits?
The CPP kit is meant for a 47-59 Roller Bearing Conversion on a 1/2 ton truck.
Thanks in advance. Want to hit the FLAPS for the seal because Classic Parts ships slower than molasses.
