I was going to cut larger openings but I was told that 2 ton fenders will bolt right on and are wider and have bigger openings. Anyone know if this is accurate? | | | | | Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 305 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 305 | yes it is true and thay are the same most big bolt fenders sell cheeper than the 1/2 ton also please snt cut up a set of 1/2 ton go with 1 ton bigger openings

Now my search for some big bolt front fenders begins. | | | | | Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 457 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 457 | I'm not an expert on this, but I believe if you use big bolt fenders, you might have to use a big bolt hood and grill as well. I might be wrong, but that is what I've heard. I'm sure somebody here knows the facts.

One thing to consider is how it will look with the rear fenders. It may look goofy with the larger opening in the front and smaller opening in the back, unless of course you have a flatbed.
