Can they be purchased in plain steel or is chrome "treated" to accept paint? | | | | | Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall | | Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 | I do know they can be purchased plain or chromed. They should be "de-chromed" before painting. I'm sure others with more experience will chime in. If its plain bumpers, or chrome, your looking for perhaps an ad in the Parts Wanted Forum will help out. | | | | | Joined: Apr 2016 Posts: 22 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Apr 2016 Posts: 22 | Thanks Achipmunk I will check it out | | | | | Joined: Jul 2014 Posts: 1,289 Moderator for Tons o' Fun , Co-Moderator Driveline Forum | | Moderator for Tons o' Fun , Co-Moderator Driveline Forum Joined: Jul 2014 Posts: 1,289 | old norse, I purchased a painted rear bumper from classic parts.com. It assembled onto the brackets with no issues.
