I have the metal strips for attaching over the doors and down the backside of the cab. Another strip of metal will capture the strip from below the dashboard to the floor edge. You have picked a very popular truck to restore.
The windlace attaches to the front of the door at that location. It goes under the window trim and under the door panel. It will run from the top front of the door to the floor where the cab seal attaches.
