My truck came without the hood mounted spring and catch, and closes cleanly except at the cowl. It stays up about an inch. Is this an adjustment or worn hinges/latches? I think this is about the only part of the trucks body I don't get. The rest seems to be straight enough. What can the Bolters tell me? Thanks, as always. Photbucket

Mark, I think most of us have fought that battle many times. My only comment is to leave the springs off until after you get the hood sitting where you want it and then hook up the springs. I learned the hard way!

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
