For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2013 Posts: 178 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2013 Posts: 178 | My truck came without the hood mounted spring and catch, and closes cleanly except at the cowl. It stays up about an inch. Is this an adjustment or worn hinges/latches? I think this is about the only part of the trucks body I don't get. The rest seems to be straight enough. What can the Bolters tell me? Thanks, as always. Photbucket

I have the 47 maintenance manual and its not there. Thanks, its just what I needed. Stovebolt rules!

My only comment is to leave the springs off until after you get the hood sitting where you want it and then hook up the springs. I learned the hard way! | | |
