Just got a 1967 C10 this past fall. It's 18 years older than me. It's a long box fleet side and I'm told that the 350 in it is out of a 74 Corvette. Its got a 3 spd standard converted to a floor shift. Its a Canadian truck and is a "survivor". Its not perfect, but it gets down the road.
So far I only drove it with the 10 day permit in the fall, but it didn't give me any problems. I put in a new battery and did the rear brakes. My mechanic gave me a fairly short list in order to safety it. I hope to have it on the road for the spring.
I should mention I am the son of a member. My dad has a 53panel and I have a few hours into helping with that truck as well.
I look forward to picking up a lot more information about these old trucks from the wealth of knowledge on this forum. Thanks

Thanks for all your help on the panel.
I hope you have it on the road soon, too. Be sure to check the gallery for other trucks of your vintage. Trucks don`t need to be `perfect`to be enjoyable. Just ask your little nephew.

Just going to take my time and enjoy it. | | |
