Can anyone tell me what steel Chevy rally style wheels will fit the old girl (if any)? If not what should I use for a quick way to get her rolling off the storage lot where she sits now on the split rims?? I want to get the truck home, but don't want to choose her ultimate wheels just yet. Thanks from a new 47 owner.

90's vintage Ford and Chevy 8-lugs will bolt right up on the back. The front is a bit more problematic as they will not clear the tie-rod ends. There are some trailer wheels that people have used here you can source as well. Do a search here on the topic and you should get some insight into those options. Since these are just temp wheels you can perhaps shop for the best deal. I got mine off a 91 Suburban from a wrecking yard for $80 for a set of four. I built my own steering arm and tie-rod for clearance. I then modified them to accept original caps.

I have Ford rims on my 54. No clearance issues. It's tight though. I doubt you could even get a wheel weight on the inside of the rim without hitting the tie rod. There's a handful of members that have used Dexstar trailer rims with good luck.
