Just acquired a new friend in Fla. Actually I didn't quite acquire her,I asked to have her take my name and maintain her till someone else decides to do the same.

I'd seen her online, made contact and went to meet her.

She looked great dressed in red,---- shiny makeup, new black shoes trimmed in white and with just a bit of glitter to make you turn your head. When she spoke it was in a tone which was smooth and confident.

I think someone found her in a barn, washed her up, fixed her hair and made her quite presentable. They tuned her up, sent her in for some minor surgery and got her on her feet again. They gave her some new upholstery and some new tail lights so people her would see her rear.

I drove up and saw her, you know how it is, of course she's no spring chicken, but man the way she looked ---- those mature curves ---- it was love at first sight. She's over 60, and just about my age. I just knew we were meant to be ------ Well after a nice introduction I decided I just had to get to know her better. I pressed and played with a few buttons and switches which turned her on. And she purred. Each one of her six cylinders gliding up and down. Each valve ticking away, some louder than others. After allowing her to warm up, I decided to nervously engage her. I eased her into first, we made it to second and we rolled down the road------

Well she's home now, with me----- we had our honeymoon------- and as you know we all have needs-----

She had a rough few years in her day. There were people who tried to help but really didn't know how. She'd been converted at some point from 6 to 12. Her caretakers really didn't understand her after she'd laid fallow for awhile and decided 6 was best for her. When I met her, although she was dressed and held her head high, she was a bit dim, she didn't talk at all although her voice was intact, when you wanted her to feel warm inside, her heater just wouldn't turn. A new love was in order, someone who would recognized her needs and allow her to return to 12. With a new source of energy she brightened up and sounded her horns! And talk about getting hot, just a flick of her switch and in ten minutes she could make a man start to sweat.

Well we are now trying to look out for one another. She needs attention, and she lets me know. She's not shifting quite right, but I'm willing to help her with that. Someone helped her with her drive train, but I'm not sure what they gave her. She's missing some parts, some more important than others. It's long term love for sure.

And if I can't help her--------- I know that out there in Stovebolt land there are many of you that would be kind enough lend a helping hand, whether its parts, advise, or just a plain old shoulder. Thanks for being out there guys!

This is my girl

....if you ever get tired of her just ship her on down south. I'd be more than happy to give her a good home and some TLC. After all, there's not that many redheads out there now days.

Welcome to the Stovebolt....both of you.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
