If you have wire it'll read positive everywhere and could possibly do that even with rebar if they are close enough together.

My concrete is pre stressed with cables. I did not want to hit one of those with the drill bit. The metal detector worked fine. They might be able to locate the rebar if you can talk them into it. Best of all.....it's free.

Contrary to a lot of belief, it has nothing to do with witchcraft. And I have not promised my soul to the devil either. I think it has something to do with magnetism. When I graduated from high school and again when I graduated from college, my parents bought me very expensive wind up watches. Neither one of them would run a week. Every jeweler in town told me I had too much magnetism in my body. I have no trouble with quartz watches. | | |
