If you turn the blink on and get out and look at it, does it glow steadily? If yes, then you need a new flasher relay. Otherwise, I think you could have grounding or switch issues. If all else fails, there's always Blinker fluid .  | | |

Must be able to cook , clean , sew , tune engines and polish trucks. Must have old Stovebolt and garage. Please send picture of old Stovebolt and garage.

That is why they sold heavy duty flashers for cars pulling trailers. Too many lights on a standard flasher and the think heated up and cooled so fast that it looked like the flasher was on speed. Although possible, I doubt the trouble is with the flasher. | | |

An overloaded flasher will flash rapidly.One that is open circuted will not flash at all.When you jump it out and the lights come on ; it will prove the circut good and the flasher bad.Check fuses first with a test light,jump flasher second,power at the bulbs with the flasher jumped third.
