Can anyone tell me or have photos of the original tail light wiring routing and what was used by GM to hold the wire to the frame? Also, where does the speedometer cable route? Seems these would follow the same path down the firewall??

Thanks

The 1954 factory Assembly Manual is going to be your best guide for this. It is available from many vendors as a reprint. I an not sure if there is a web copy. It has the detail you seek usually over a few pages.

On this '48 the wires are held to the frame by rectangular spring clips. The clip has 2 tabs that push through a hole in the frame and hold it in place. The face of the clip has u shaped clip to hold the wire.
Haven't looked for replacements but it is on the list

Those wire hangers are different. Look like they attach with nut and bolt.

I'll see if I can get a picture of one alone. Can't show them on the frame, not back from powder coat.

I have the 1954 factory Assembly Manual but could not find the info I'm looking for in it.

One of the issues is I can't figure out if the wires go above the master cyl bracket or through the master cyl bracket.
