I'm looking into doing the same for the '48 2 ton, 12'bed.
I'm looking for a source for the steel for the perimeter frame.
Correct profile for a wood bed with post holes.

There's lots of iron in it. I'm not sure exactly how long it is, but it's at least 18' long, maybe even 20'. It could easily be shortened to any length you wanted.
