I own a 2007 GMC Sierra Denali and purchased a 57' GMC Longbed, Stepside, Hydromatic. I can't wait to share ideas. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall | | Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 | Tom, You have certainly arrived at the right place. Tons of info/knowledge here and some great guys to share what they have learned and to offer up their opinions. The best way to take advantage of the 'Bolt is to visit often.
There is a strong contingence in the Florida area. I'm sure you'll find them, or they will find you. You might even drop by the Southern Bolters Forum and introduce yourself there. I think you'll find a good many of the Florida guys there.
Let us know how we can help. Be sure to post some pictures of your 57 GMC and keep a photo log. After about 4 post you will be able to send PM's and enjoy the full benefits of the Stovebolt. I also have two that are 50 years apart, a 1953 panel and a 2003 GMC van. They are painted exactly the same colour and are sometimes together at the jobsite. Why don't you take the colour code from the newer truck and paint the '57 that colour when its ready to paint? http://s365.photobucket.com/user/1953panel/media/DSC01845.jpg.html?sort=3&o=15Leo | | | | | Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 10 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 10 | Great idea Shop Shark.
