Iron Clad Shop Shark I Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 446 Mt Hood Oregon	Well, I finally built the gantry hoist and lifted the 2 speed rear differential for Brutus my Chevy C60. It's in the shop and ready to work on! Below are three videos showing the gantry hoist and the rear diff. lifted. Enjoy! crenwelge 'Bolter C Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 4,961 Fredericksburg, Texas	That hoist will hold a lot more than that light rear. We used to pull 4,000 lb. engines with a hoist that was probably not as heavy. I doubt that the rear even weighs a thousand lbs.

I'm not sure of the ratios yet, but I know the person it came from (wife's uncle) and apparently the truck would travel the highway at 60+ which is perfect for me Thanks wetwilly!
