The horn has been taken apart and cleaned and points dressed. It works on 12 but dose not sound like it should.

You might try and do a search but if I remember correctly the answer was that the horn will be a bit louder but will work ok, they also said not to lay on the horn for a long time as it may burn out some of the parts.

As long as you don't lay onto the button for a real long time, it should work for ever.

If it is one of those manifold-mounted deals, then it should sound like the Road Runner on Bugs Bunny. | | |
