I have a 1961, 261 and a 168 tooth (12v), 11" flywheel. I cannot for the life of me find a 12 volt starter anywhere. Does anyone have any idea where I can find one? Thanks.

What year truck are you putting this in?
If it is in a 1961 truck, most likely you are looking for a solenoid starter. NAPA, Rockauto.com, and many others should have a 12v starter with solenoid for 235s. It should work fine.
You most likely have an 11" clutch - the size of the clutch has no impact on the suitability of a starter.

NAPA, Rockauto and many others do NOT have this starter. At least not that I can find. If you find one, I'd be elated and grateful.

I went and checked the 4 starters that I have (all "stomp" starters). One of them DOES have the smaller shaft and does "twist" as it engages. So now all I have to do is figure out when it's not meshing well with the flywheel.
It doesn't want to "engage", but if I "force" it, it will.
Then, once it's engaged, it wont fully release. Again, force will help to release.
