Been a long time lurker, and finally pulled the trigger and joined up. I know some of you from other forums, so am looking to enjoy the same fun and discussions.

Welcome to the Stovebolt 12 Port. This is the best site there is for old Chevy iron. Lots and lots of knowledge and guys willing to share it in a family style atmosphere! I've made many friends here over the years.

Say, North Ga. means you may be close to Spartanburg or Greenville. If so let me know. Maybe we can meet up at a southern gabfest this year. Its about time for another one.

Thanks Achipmunk, im a little over an hour and a half north of Atlanta up I-75 about 6 miles before the Tenn. line. No trucks at the moment, but I do a lot of tinkering on Stovebolt oriented parts for guys that do.

Be on the lookout in the events or the Southern STovebolt Forum for an even at the Alanta Dragway. We'll probably have a get together there like we did last year. Bolter Brad54 in in charge of it and he gives special treatment to Stovebolters
I can also add you to my Southern Stovebolt list if you like. I try to send out a reminder of things going on ever now and then. Check the "you should have been there forum" for some past Southern "reunions".....see ya

Yes that sounds good, add me to your list or just PM me. One question about the site, I was trying to contact a member to let him know I finally joined up, but said I didn't have that priviledge, is this a time factor thing for newbies im guessing. Thanks

You can't send a "PM" until after you make a number of post. I'm not sure of what it is but I think its about 6 and after that your good to go. I know your "approved". So after a couple more post your good to go. I guess you could say your a full fledge member
