First time in a long time posting an update. Life has been busy. I've been in grad school and very busy at work, but this summer has been a summer of working on the truck.

I have a few quick questions that I'll post subsequently.

Question #1:
Is there any special way on keeping the wiper blades from flopping over? It doesn't seem that the plastic on a standard wiper blade holds the button on the arm tightly enough. Do you resort to putting a dab of cement on there or something?

Note #2:

Noladishu,
Looks to me like you might have the wrong wiper blades installed.

wrong blade or wrong arm. Now days a lot of the blades come with some kind of adapter to also fit various models. A trip to the parts store and check out a few of them before you buy it.
