vegiguy, calm down, don't stressss, relax, take it easy!

Most of us have been exactly where you are and you can make it through this! This is a rewarding hobby in the end.
Its been years since I had my 46 but while I'm not familiar with your model can you be a little more specific about what it is you need. Is it a block that goes behind the master cylinder, a block that bolts through the chassis, or maybe its the bango blocks that bolt to the wheel cylinder. Depending on just what it is you need will help us out. There are lots of vendors out there besides JC. Have you looked at Chev's of the 40's, Filling Station, Truck Shop....... and most importantly, post an ad in the swap meet PARTS WANTED forum. Guys who are parting out, or rat rodding, ect may have a parts truck or parts laying around.
I have a few "blocks" off my 52 but not sure if they are even close to what you need.
As for attaching the line to the chassis I used the little rubber coated clamps and drilled a couple small holes in the chassis. Unless you bought stainless lines the lines at most Auto parts store are fairly economical.
Sorry your having such a hard time. Help us out here so we can help you... let us know what it is you need and be SURE to post in the Swap meet. I KNOW there are guys here who can help.
