I'd say you have enough to do the inside depending on how thick you put it on......then use the left over on the bottom where no one will see it if your a little short | | | | | Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 4,263 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 4,263 | Hey Big_dan_1950 I didn't use lizzard skin so I can't testify But I did buy one gallon of herculiner bed liner product. With one gallon I had enough to cover the entire Cab bottom And had enough left over to treat all 4 Fenders The herculiner product is rolled on and I believe the lizard skin is sprayed, but I would think one gallon should be plenty Good luck | | | | | Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 1,001 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 1,001 | Here is what I posted in another thread on my plans for sound deadening:
3M Body Shutz: underside of cab and wheel wells. Literature lists sound control as primary capability. This will eliminate need for any product on interior side of cab floor.
Lizard Skin SC (interior application): back wall of cab, under fuel tank, under seat (subwoofer will go under seat so better sound control is a bonus here), roof, and toe kick/firewall. Lizard skin is paintable, so I will apply before cab is painted and paint the Lizard Skin with cab finish (color) coat.
Dynamat: Inside of doors. Easier application than spray on product due to limited access. I like the mass of Dynamat to dampen the big drum that is an AD door. | | |
