For those who can not attend Macungie this year, Cosmo, Jr. and I are going to meet at the Devil Backbone at 11am on Saturday June 15th. We will have lunch and a beer then cruise down 151 to the next stop.

This is as informal as it gets, if you can come, show up! If not, hope you can make the next one!

Devils Backbone Basecamp Brewpub
200 Mosbys Run
Roseland, VA
22967
Located in Nelson County
Crossroads Rt 151 & Rt 664

The Devils Backbone

We will be hanging out until about 3 or so then motoring home. Jim Brad may be riding shotgun with me. Please come if you can, the more the merrier!!

Have that beer for me. I hope to propose a trip west upon my return. I would like to get my project out of the county for the first time. Thinking Fredericksburg makes for a good stop.

Regretfully, I won't be able to go, so no shotgun ride for me in the Green Machine.

Thanks Chris for the invite.

Ready for life to stop being so complex around here.

Just returned from a 900 mile shakedown cruise for the '69 3 sp+od, flawless performance. I'll be ready for Saturday.

There will be much toasting within the realm prescribed by Virginia Law, good health to all brothers and sisters, families. There will be the presentation of the highly coveted Sergeant-At-Arms Badge, we will have an official ceremony at Winchester. Gents, make certain your cameras have full battery charge as there will be much documentation of the 151 Recon Run II.

another brother,

Cosmo

What a day.

Met Cosmo at his place this morning, then off the Devil's Backbone. We had a great lunch with one of their finest brews then off to an old gas station Phil saw on the way.

Back to the DB for round 2 then we departed and made it home in time for dinner. We held and emergency proceeding and voting unanimously that we shall have an official ODSS meeting there twice a year!!

What a blast!!

Here are the pics! Nelson 151 Run

from the desk of yer prez...

In a final analysis, it is not the beer you drink but who you are drinking the beer with. Had a great time (albeit too short) with two great brothers... Sweet and Phil. We behaved ourselves drinking wise and had a fine time to boot.

Let us give thanks to our fathers and rejoice in this fine day with our families.

just another brother,

Cosmo

More of the same photos if you all would like to see them;

What a great place to meet. Perfect food and beer. Next round is set for Mid October or early November. Even if you don't bring a vintage truck it is worth the trip.

Hey Cosmo, Sweet, and Phil, That is a nice photo of you guys! I'm looking forward to meeting Phil in person at Winchester this year (if our schedule allow us to be there). I am greatful that you gave me that Burb molding. Take care my brothers. V/R, Nick Cavallaro, Bel Air, MD
