I started putting the wood slats down over the tank in order to access nuts. Then I started from the other side. Now the middle board will not fit close to the cab and am trying to figure out what to do.
Any suggestions? Thanks

I wound up shaving a half inch off one of them. It sounds like you're having a problem with the length of a board, though. Is that the case?
I suggest putting all the boards and strips in without tightening the nuts. That way you can move everything around as needed to make it all fit. To do that, however, you'll probably have to lower the tank.
I saw a uTube video of one guy who put his entire bed togather off the truck, then positioned it on and bolted it down. | | | | Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 2,254 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 2,254 | It is the width.
Thanks for the response. I thought I could do it with the tank in place. And I also thought of shaving the one board down.
Thanks again
