Hi, new to the Forum.
I am in England have had a number of American trucks over the years, the last was a 63 long bed with a wonderfull 292 solid as a rock I wish I had never sold it.
I have a store in Hollywood and am in the US 3 or 4 times a year and have noticed prices of these old truck going through the roof in the last 2 years so figured I need to get another before the solid ones get out of reach. There are a few dealers over here that sell early trucks but their stock is getting rougher and rougher as the prices of good ones are driven up.
Currently I have on the Sea a 56 3100 stepside, 235 motor on it's way from Yuba City due to arrive on 29th May.
Plan is just to make it legal safe and reliable to use as a daily.

I also have a Model A Sedan with a 284 Flathead and a 42 Ford GPW that served with the British army in Italy.

Some great information on here and I look forwards to contributing.
Richard

Hello Richard, some nice pickups coming out of that region. Good luck with yours and post up some pictures when it arrives.
Where in England are you from?

Hotroddickey, Welcome to the Stovebolt. You are not alone in England. There are quite a few bolters around from there and perhaps some close to you.

Yep, these old trucks are going fast. I dare say most of them have been picked over till todays selection is pretty scarce.

Good luck. We're here to help.

Hi Richard, welcome. You are now a Euro-bolter. Too bad you sold the 292, those are bullet proof. Hope your truck arrives as per schedule. Say hi to Jock for me.

Hi Richard, welcome to the Stovebolt it looks like the guys have introduced me already!
Where abouts 'darn sarf' are you?

Nice to see some 'newer' models arriving on our shores, this place is getting over-run with all these old A.D. trucks .... wink

You must be like a kid waiting on Santa.
Hope to see you around the 'bolt or possibly a show if we can afford the petrol!
Jock.

The links work for me,that's a good looking truck Richard and it's a big window too.
What a great way to deal with the daily grind,if you've got to go to work you might at least enjoy driving there and back!
Good luck.
