I need to replace all of the old wiring in my 58' Apache. My question is what company(Brothers, LMC)etc. has the best quality? I just need a basic system to replace the old wiring.

When I wanted to rewire my stock 49 I checked almost everyone's product. Could not find one that was basic. They all seemed to have features like alternator, power window, steering column ignition and so on.
I took a look at the wiring schematic and realized it was actually quite simple. I bought wire, terminals and rewired my truck myself. Simply did one wire at a time. The most difficult part was wiring the dash because of access.
I don't know if a 59 would be more complex than my 49 but I think its worth a try.

Classic Parts kits are excellent and match original wiring - original standard circuits, original lengths and color codes, and terminated (except for rear lamps - you terminate to match your frame/bed length).

I've always wired my own for my needs. On my current project, I did buy a new harness for the fuel injected motor. This way I had all new connectors. The rest of the truck I'll do myself.

I'm not sure when you wired yours, but there are a lot of simple kits that have been released in the last year or two for those not needing circuits for accessories. All the major wiring harness vendors have them now.

I did mine about 5 years back except for the dash/gauge wiring which I kept putting off because of the difficult access.

I used classic parts wiring harness for my 55.2 3100. Really wasn't hard to install, after you figured everything out. The instructions were terrible. Better instructions would have made it a lot easier. JMO.

I do a lot of my own wireing but unless I was going to do a lot of it, a kit/harness would be the best way to go. If you do it right you wil have 3-4 hundred dollars in spools of wire & terms. A made up harness has al the circuits marked. It will save a lot of time.
