Congratulations on a successful EZ-Wire project!
I'm curious about your bed ... all I saw was plywood on the underside -- aren't there any cross-braces under the plywood? And what does it look like on the topside? Is it still just a sheet of plywood?

As to your question about the bed. yes, it is just plywood with no cross braces (actually it has 1 cross brace that really isn't doing anything).
The topside is just a more weathered version of the bottom side.
This is one of the top priority items to fix after the major mechanical stuff is addressed. | | |

There's a solid (one piece) sheet of 1/8" steel that's slid in over the old wood which appears to be original. All the cross braces and everything is still there ... I guess the previous owner just decided to cover it with steel.
Eventually, I plan on removing everything and doing something totally original with some hardwoods.
