Hello folks. Please click below for a video of a 1930's Chevy Fire Truck! I'm not sure what year but I believe it's late 1930's. Enjoy!

Nice looking old truck! Seems like more than a few of them had the grilles carved up to accommodate those front mounted pumps.

Good looking truck, hope somebody saves it. I'm going to hazard a guess that either the cab or fire equipment was transplanted from another truck. This was a common practice with small rural fire dept.s who couldn't afford a new truck, and would explain the missing grill.

Hello misrilou. Actually, this was a purpose built fire truck. There is a metal plate inside the cab right above the windshield with information from the company that put the fire equipment on. I should have tried to capture that on video. Next time I'm in that area I will try to get a picture of that....Thanks for watching!

That's a pretty clear military job from WWII, a crash truck, I believe. They were made by several different fire apparatus companies, and there were variations with Chassis and equipment, but all fit a general standard.
