Are there any big bolt people out there in Connecticut? I'm new here and just bought my first big truck a 49 6100. Here are some pic's from the day i DROVE it home.my truckShe was built at the Tarrytown ny plant and was a wrecker in ct its whole life. The guy i got it from scrapped the wrecker body three years ago and never did anything with the truck. I plan on building a oak flatbed for it and drive it around.

Nice looking truck. I live in Mass. just over the line and there are a lot of big old trucks in CT. You might be able to make some connections at the Connecticut Antique Machinery Association's Spring Power-up on May 4 in Kent. There should be a few of them there in addition to all the other machinery on display.

Thanks Ed for reminding me about the kent show. I think i will be ready to drive the truck by then. It's only a 30mi drive for me it sounds like a plan

Not quite a big bolt but I do have a 1-ton. I see your truck spent some time in the neighboring town from me. Someone near me has a nicely restored GMC cabover stake. So there are a few out there.
