It is unusual to see the metal strip (ala a pick up bed) on a larger truck platform body. By the mid-sixties all the mainstream manufacturers were mostly using treated shiplap YP boards and it was most common to see self tapping TorX type screws. I wish you had included the understructure in you video.

I'm looking forward to seeing it apart as well. If your not reusing the bolts couldn't you just blow off all the nuts with a torch? It'd be a lot quicker? A dato bit on a table saw might be easier as well for those long rabbits you're talking about?
Hello Straightjacket. Using a torch is a good option! As far as the lumber, unfortunately I don't own a table saw. My shop is set up mainly for blacksmithing and metal fab. I do have a router though.......
