I know your not suppose to mix radials with bias ply, But don't fully understand why. It be would just the two 19.5's for steers, and the bias on the rear duelly. I just figure on such a low speed truck it wont matter mixing radials with bias. If you must mix, bias on front, radial on rear.
Radials on the front only can make it very easy for the rear end to try to pass the front during braking.
I know, never going to drive that fast or brake that hard but ---- it only takes once!

Eventually we started putting radial on the steering axle also after we got power steering on all of our tractors. Bias tires on the steering axle held the road better without power steering than radials. | | |
