This will also include the size of u-joints.

Get a yoke from practically any 68 up GM using a 3 speed or automatic trans. except TH400. Contact a drive shaft shop & give them the dementions. They will modify yours to fit & install the correct u-joint. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing. 1972 Chevy c10 Cheyenne SuperIn the Gallery Forum | | | | | Joined: Feb 2009 Posts: 269 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2009 Posts: 269 | Wrenchbender Ret, Thank you for the reply and advice. I parted with the closed drive shaft and rear axle w/leaf springs. I was looking at getting an S10 drives shaft from the salvage yard and have it cut to length. It seems that all the salvage yards here are tapped out of S-10s. I do not know what kind of slip yoke and u-joints needed to completed the connection. I have looked at some venders for a borg warner compatible slip yoke but there are many to chose from. Thanks for the help, Bread .

I didnt have to cut or modify the driveshaft. The slip yoke fit the T5, all I needed was a combination ujoint to mate it to the 62 C10 diff that I used. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2009 Posts: 269 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2009 Posts: 269 | Gents, Thank you for the advice, I really appreciate it.
