For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 60 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 60 | My 46 1/2Ton came to me without any engine, transmission and radiator .I plan to use a 4.3liter V6 with NV3500 transmission because I have one in good shape . Can any one recommend a radiator that can be made to fit and work in this truck ?

You should be able locate one on E Bay, or thru one of the Parts suppliers such as Jim Carter, or Chev's of the 40's. You may need to add an electric booster fan. I am running the original rad in my 1940 with a 327 V-8. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 60 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 60 | Thats what I suspected. Are the inlet and outlet locations not to hard to plumb to ?

With my stock rad, connections are lower right corner and upper centre. I used a corrugated flex style hose on the bottom / standard molded type up top. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2012 Posts: 33 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Oct 2012 Posts: 33 | http://www.championradiators.net/servlet/the-3185/Chevy-Pickup-Trucks-1941-dsh-1946/Detail
