I've been told it's a rather straightforward job and only 2 holes need to be elongated for the new crossmember to go in. Are the holes in the crossmember or in the existing frame rails? Which 2 are they.
Any help would be appreciated as I've already got new ball joints, A-arm bushings, and tie rod ends installed and ready to go with this.

I'm taking the front crossmember from an 81' model 1/2 ton with power steering and disc brakes and transplanting it into the 64'. Gain newer technology, better braking and handling. Makes me feel more secure in driving the 64' as I built it to drive and not wait for the perfect weather to get it out of the garage as a museum piece.
