I need a piece of sheet metal for my 1946 Chevy truck. It is the piece that holds the windshield wiper motors and is located above the windshield in the interior. I can buy a fiberglass replacement, but I want an original metal piece. The one I have is so rusted that it's not worth repairing.

Yes this is the piece that I need but where do you suggest that I buy it? I'd gladly pay $100 for a metal "wiper motor hinge cover upper."

You ought to also post that in your Want Ad in the Swap Meet. More sellers will see it there.
