Seems paintable bumpers, front or rear, are no longer available new, only chrome.

I got my 1956 front and rear from Athey's in Front Royal, VA an few years ago. Bill handles Chevy/GMC parts from 47-72. He sells the same stuff all of the other vendors sell and he's close enough to me that I can pick the large parts up without paying for shipping. Here's his web site... http://www.s-c-t-p.com/ Mike B | | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 | He must have had some old stock. I tried to get a new bumper for my '55 a few years ago, needed a painted bumper. Only 1 place even had a listing for it, they couldn't get one as the supplier no longer produced them. Ended up getting a good used one from another supplier.
