I repaired the dash and forward harnesses, changed the 6v!! regulator to 12, rebuilt the heater, removed the awful 60s Impala wiper assy, installed electric wipers, repainted the dash, column, wheel and floor, installed a couple of gauges until I can rebuild the cluster, painted the engine, fixed the stomp starter and got the 235 dialed in smooth as silk.
Tomorrow I'm going to take it out on the road, first time it will be on the road since the late 70s! I still have some more work ahead but it looks great and runs even better. I will have to post some pictures to share. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | fast worker!! we'll be lookin for the pics Bill | | | | | Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 9,115 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 9,115 | Congratulations and I will be waiting for the pics too! | | | | | Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall | | Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 | Way to go.
